Daniel 5:16

SV	Doch van u heb ik gehoord, dat gij uitleggingen kunt geven, en knopen ontbinden; nu, indien gij dit schrift zult kunnen lezen, en deszelfs uitlegging mij bekend maken, gij zult met purper bekleed worden, met een gouden keten om uw hals, en gij zult de derde heerser in dit koninkrijk zijn.
WLC	וַאֲנָה֙ שִׁמְעֵ֣ת [עֲלַיִךְ כ] (עֲלָ֔ךְ ק) דִּֽי־ [תוּכַל כ] (תִיכּ֥וּל ק) פִּשְׁרִ֛ין לְמִפְשַׁ֖ר וְקִטְרִ֣ין לְמִשְׁרֵ֑א כְּעַ֡ן הֵן֩ [תּוּכַל כ] (תִּכ֨וּל ק) כְּתָבָ֜א לְמִקְרֵ֗א וּפִשְׁרֵהּ֙ לְהֹודָ֣עֻתַ֔נִי אַרְגְּוָנָ֣א תִלְבַּ֗שׁ [וְהַמֹּונְכָא כ] (וְהַֽמְנִיכָ֤א ק) דִֽי־דַהֲבָא֙ עַֽל־צַוְּארָ֔ךְ וְתַלְתָּ֥א בְמַלְכוּתָ֖א תִּשְׁלַֽט׃ פ
Trans.	wa’ănâ šimə‘ēṯ ‘ălayiḵə ‘ălāḵə dî-ṯûḵal ṯîkûl pišərîn ləmifəšar wəqiṭərîn ləmišərē’ kə‘an hēn tûḵal tiḵûl kəṯāḇā’ ləmiqərē’ ûfišərēhh ləhwōḏā‘uṯanî ’arəgəwānā’ ṯiləbaš wəhammwōnəḵā’ wəhamənîḵā’ ḏî-ḏahăḇā’ ‘al-ṣaûə’rāḵə wəṯalətā’ ḇəmaləḵûṯā’ tišəlaṭ:

AC	טז ואנה שמעת עליך (עלך) די תוכל (תכול) פשרין למפשר וקטרין למשרא כען הן תוכל (תכול) כתבא למקרא ופשרה להודעותני--ארגונא תלבש והמונכא (והמניכא) די דהבא על צוארך ותלתא במלכותא תשלט {פ}
ASV	But I have heard of thee, that thou canst give interpretations, and dissolve doubts; now if thou canst read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation thereof, thou shalt be clothed with purple, and have a chain of gold about thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom.
BE	And I have had news of you, that you have the power of making things clear, and of answering hard questions: now if you are able to make out the writing and give me the sense of it, you will be clothed in purple and have a gold chain round your neck and be a ruler of high authority in the kingdom.
Darby	But I have heard of thee, that thou canst give interpretations, and solve problems. Now if thou canst read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation thereof, thou shalt be clothed with purple, and have a chain of gold about thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom.
ELB05	Ich habe aber von dir gehört, daß du Deutung zu geben und Knoten zu lösen vermagst. Nun, wenn du diese Schrift zu lesen und ihre Deutung mir kundzutun vermagst, so sollst du mit Purpur bekleidet werden, mit einer goldenen Kette um deinen Hals, und du sollst als Dritter im Königreich herrschen.
LSG	J'ai appris que tu peux donner des explications et résoudre des questions difficiles; maintenant, si tu peux lire cette écriture et m'en donner l'explication, tu seras revêtu de pourpre, tu porteras un collier d'or à ton cou, et tu auras la troisième place dans le gouvernement du royaume.
Sch	Und von dir habe ich gehört, daß du Deutungen geben und Knoten auflösen könnest. Wenn du nun diese Schrift lesen und mir ihre Bedeutung erklären kannst, so sollst du mit Purpur bekleidet werden und eine goldene Kette an deinem Halse tragen und als Dritter im Reiche herrschen!
Web	And I have heard of thee, that thou canst make interpretations, and dissolve doubts: now if thou canst read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation of it, thou shalt be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom.
